Security is high technology. So along with that came, can you put TVs in, can you, can you put sound systems in? And about 15, 20 years ago, we started in the audio-video business.

Also at the same time, we're putting in security. Security is a very high tech, very complex business, and so is audio and video. So it was a perfect match for us.

Home automation can be used for people that are deaf. We installed a system just recently that allowed a deaf woman to be able to know when somebody walked in the door.

We set it up so the lights would flash any time somebody opened or closed the door. This allowed her to know what was going in and out of her house. We also were able to put audible strobe lights in.

If the alarm went off, she knew that she had an issue. The technology can be used for many, many good things today for people that have disabilities.

You have automation with security, for heating, for cooling, for locks. If somebody is at your back door and they need to get it to your house to clean the house and you have to give them, haven't given them the code to the alarm, you just go to your phone, you shut the alarm off, you unlock the door and let them in.
